About Me
In high school I had a horrible habit of doodling during class. By the end of my senior year, I started filling pages with a black and white design and then
began hiding names in them. As my artistic ability developed so did my “doodles.” Now an art student at Illinois Wesleyan University, I have started including
figurative elements such as people, instruments, nature, etc. My understanding of shapes and design has grown and my drawings are becoming more and more complex.
My work is meant to capture the eye of the viewer with its unique shapes, bold marks, and ambiguous meaning. Most of my pieces are open to a number of
interpretations. It is up to the viewer to decide what the piece means to them, if it has a deeper meaning, or if its total existence is just candy for the eye.
For me it’s just another daydream.
